hi, I use freez flv to avi mpeg wmv converter to convert my youtube flv video to avi or wmv video. it’s freeware and very easy to use. just add the downloaded flv video to it, select one to set the output format, then you can convert it to avi or wmv fast. hope that helps you!!

I recommand you to try video converter. I know windows movie maker supports wmv format. You could convert your videos to this format.
